Pitik-Mulat: Telling photos come from telling realities

Pitik-Mulat is a bi-annual gathering of professional and student photographers set out on an exposure trip and photo shoot in an indigent community to produce photos representative of and relevant to our times. The activity culminates in an exhibit and critique session with fellow participants and invited professional photographers and photojournalists.

This time, communities in Hapilan or Barangay 105 Tondo, Manila will be visited. Invited photographers are Luis Liwanag, Jimmy Domingo, Jes Aznar, Vivian Limpin, Alberto Garcia, George Cabig and various photographers from Range Finders Filipinas.

Exhibit of photos is set on February 26-29, 2008 at the Film Lobby of the College of Mass Communication, UP Diliman and on March 3-7 at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
